The Vyatta Core is an integration of a number of components from a variety of different sources, much the same way as a standard Linux distribution. Many of the components are licensed under the GNU GPL. Others carry a BSD license. Still others carry less-popular licenses. All components of the Vyatta Core carry licenses defined as open source.
License files are included with every package installed in the system and can be viewed in the /usr/share/doc/package/copyright file.

    2. No, it's not. As vyos.net states, "VyOS is a community fork of Vyatta". Its maintainers are not affiliated with Brocade.

    3. Yaa !! you are right, Vyatta VC and VyOS both are different. VyOS is another project like Vyatta. And Brocade have it own developer and maintainers team for their Vyatta project.
